In Germany we do not have something so at all. Early beginning of the 90th had tried the TV transmitter RTL plus sometimes. At that time he emitted late of evening a TV show, in, unfortunately, for Germany typically in scenes of violence cut horror films of a woman (no German word for the kind of the disguising... gives maybe rather vampire's lady without rice teeth) was presented. This was quite nice, unfortunately, there is not already since 1993 any more. However, I know Elvira only from the film "Elvira - Mistress of the Dark", know them in the USA is clearly more known than here in Germany! In any case, I find Elvira just really sexy and cultic! An icon of the 80s!

A great film! Above all the scene where David Bowie in the hospital where he goes in young and waits for the doctor and becomes older and older is simply fantastic! Has seen the film in the German Free TV... simply good! I also like also best the horror films before 2000. Earlier the films still simply had charm and style and were made affectionate. Not like today!

Earlier they were green.. now blue and the Uniforms of the Police Officers aree blue too...looks like Sailors :( and all this only because the Idea of EU... oh no...^^ I know, my comment deals nothing with the subject.

Sleepaway Camp is a great campy 80's horror classic. I'm sure Hell Night is somewhere up there too.
